Profile:
Lisa (Peisha Wu)
joined the English Language Center (ELC) of Shantou Univesity (STU) in 2015. In
the past two and a half years, she has taught three different undergraduate courses
at the ELC with different focuses on speaking, reading, listening and
intercultural communication to students of diverse majors. She also teaches
English composition in the Department of English to students studying English
as a double major. Currently, she serves as the advisor for the Writing Studio of
the Center of Independent Language Learning, training tutors for carrying
writing consultations and writing workshops.
Apart from her teaching and services at STU, Lisa has
given academic presentations on her research in second language writing at
international conferences in Cambodia, Thailand, Macau and Hong Kong.
